Ava is now five and getting too heavy to carry upstairs to her room. There are two ways to get her powerchair upstairs: a stairway lift to carry her chair up 2 flights of stairs vs. a simple elevator lift (about $25-30K). Sadly, the cheaper stair lifts are too big for our stairway. That leaves a simple elevator (about $10K more).
